Rare Earth Ions for Quantum Information is an international workshop to stimulate discussions in the community. It is organized every year, coordinated by a steering committee:

Previous workshops were organized in Paris, Darmstadt, Barcelona, Geneva, Grenoble, Karlsruhe, Edinburgh, Bad Honnef, Lund, Munich and Nice. The next meeting in 2026 will be in Delft.
