This year the Rare-Earth Ions for Quantum Information Workshop will be held in Nice, from the 16th to the 18th of September 2025.

Relevant dates :
16th of May: opening of registration and abstract submission
16th of July: closing of registration and abstract submission
16th of September: opening of the workshop

The workshop will take place in two different locations :
- On 16th and 17th September it will take place at the ‘Théâtre du Grand Chateau’ de Valrose of the University of Nice, 1 Av. Marechal Maunoury, 06100 Nice, France

- On the 18th of September, for convenience with lab tour and airport/railway station transfer, it will take place at the Institut de Physique de Nice (INPHYNI), 17 rue Julien Lauprêtre, 06200, Nice, France

Accomodation:
Accomodation in Nice is usually easy, but end of summer is still a busy period as Nice is a touristic place. We therefore recommend you to book your hotel as soon as possible.

Venue:
Plane: Nice Airport is very well connected to many international destinations. To join the ‘Théâtre’, take tram line 2 direction ‘Port Lympia’, change to tram line 1 direction ‘Henri Sappia’ at station ‘Jean Médecin’. Stop at ‘Valrose Université’.
To connect with ‘INPHYNI’, climb indifferently on line 2 (dir. Port Lympia) or B (dir. Cadam) and change to line 3 at station ‘Grand Arenas’, direction ‘Saint Isidore’. Stop at ‘Meridia’.

Train: To join the ‘Théâtre’, optimal arrival is at ‘Nice Ville’ (Gare Thiers) train station in the center of the city. Then take the tram line 1 direction ‘Henri Sappia’ and stop at ‘Valrose Université’. To join ‘INPHYNI’, optimal arrival is at ‘Nice Saint-Augustin’ station. Then take line 3 direction 'Saint Isidore' and stop at 'Meridia'.
